Hundreds of protesters gathered at Durham’s CCB Plaza on Saturday, April 5, 2025, to oppose recent actions by the Trump administration. The “Hands Off” protest was one of more than 1,200 demonstrations held nationwide that Saturday, all part of a coordinated movement demanding change. An energetic crowd spent the morning chanting, marching through downtown, and cheering as passing cars honked in support.
