About Mercer Meadows

Mercer Meadows is a senior at UNC Chapel Hill, studying Political Science and Journalism. Moving from small town to small town across Georgia and North Carolina, Mercer is passionate about the intersection of faith and community, specifically in what makes individuals feel safe and valued in a community and what aspects increase connection and belonging. Mercer interns as a college counselor at Matriculate Inc., a nonprofit organization that connects high achieving, low income students to free college advising. In attempts to make the people around her feel a sense of belonging, Mercer loves to host elaborate dinners for her friends, play cards around a table of conversation, try new coffee shops, and travel to fun destinations to climb mountains.
